“How many people have no fucking idea who we are?”

DEAD FUCKING SERIOUS has been active, on and off, since 2006. But “active” is a generous word for a band that only performs when there’s a new album, and notoriously turns down shows.

The DFS discography has continued to grow as their appearances become more scarce. In 2022, the trio dropped their best work to date… and played only twice to promote it.

Luckily, the cameras were running in Portland, and they captured the audio in Eugene. Now, with three-time collaborator PAUL MINER, DFS offers LIVE: IN THE FLESH; a keepsake for people like the audience member who audibly begged “play more!” on the recording.

IN THE FLESH presents a tighter band than simply playing fast-at-all-cost, but the signature “blocks” of non-stop songs keep all of the holy shit momentum that you’d expect.

As the set breezes by, DFS closes with their 2022 epic “Panicdote,” before offering a studio b-side from KLANDEMIC that might surprise casual listeners. The track also features DEATH BY STEREO drummer MIKE CAMBRA and lead guitarist JASON MILBANK from A WILHELM SCREAM.
